What's going on
/26 may 2010/

No I'm definitely not! ... I'm still alive and kickin, kids :) Thanks for asking. Timing is another issue, however - I've finished a few jobs, got some bucks, now I'm planning to return here and start over. Freewares are my thing. I got stuck in web projects before; ones ending with '.hu' which means they're for the 2 million internet users of my beautiful little country (Hungary, anyone? :) instead of billions of others around the web. Never again. I swear. May my hands be chopped off the moment I register anything matching /.*\.hu/ again!

I owe you a Finder 3. I know. I'm working on it, or, to be more precise, I'm trying to get there. But first, I'll have to replace this page with something that looks like a web page - not some forgotten HTML homework from 1993. So I'm writing this text to maintain the illusion of something happening in the background, you know how it works :) Gonna take some time till I get a few free hours from my Project Manager (remember her?) to work on Finder but I have her word for that.

Thanks for your endless patience!
DKF 3.0 will rock. I promise.

Latest version here (2.1.3.0)
Finder is an index-based fast file search tool with many useful options and features. I'm actively using it since 2003 when I made the first (quite dumb) versions and it helps me a lot, so I hope you'll be happy to have it too. Just start using it and right-click sometimes if you're unsure about something. It's trivial and handy but when you need some extra power, it will be there.

If you think Finder is cool, help me keep it freeware! ... I love to do programming for fun so a voluntary donation means a lot more to me than license fees could ever.  Thank you!

I got this tiny award from SnapFiles.
My first one, for my first published freeware.
It's like getting your highschool degree.

    ...and this one from FreewareGenius.
I loved their article about Finder but hey, they're far too kind. I have a few milestones to pass before I really deserve a five-star rating.
